Officeinsight had written a very critical article about a new Aeron Side Chair and amazingly HMI called to say they had internally agreed with my review.
Herman Miller corporate character and values of was something to admire along with their classic designs.
The goal of the program was to create corporate messaging to the global design community, along with improved design emphasis throughout the company, from showrooms to products.
“WE CARE” was put into action nationally by our team. During the holiday season volunteer designers would come together with children nationally to make holiday gifts for their loved ones. It was truly rewarding to be a part of this.
Was keynote speaker at the “Center of Design and Business” conference sponsored by the Rhode Island School of Design.
In his book, How Design Happened at Herman Miller, Joe Schwartz cites George’s role to “reestablish Herman Miller’s ‘emotional connection’ with the A&D audiences.”
